About the Barn
The open-plan downstairs accommodation includes a fully equipped modern kitchen and family dining area, as well as a relaxing sitting area. A separate utility/boot room contains a washer/drier and ironing facilities. Through glazed doors is a sunny, paved terrace perfect for al fresco dining and barbeques on warm summer evenings.
A wooden staircase leads to the first floor and the light and inviting sitting room. Comfortable sofas promise a cosy end to a day in the beautiful South Hams. The sitting room has a good selection of books and games as well as a TV and DVD player for a relaxing evening in.
Upstairs you’ll also find a lovely double bedroom with TV, and a charming dual aspect twin, both with full-size wardrobes and beautiful floor level cottage windows framing stunning views of the gardens. The family bathroom has a walk-in shower for an invigorating start, as well a full-size bath to relax at the end of the day.
The sunny private patio has a westerly aspect and is perfect for afternoon tea, or dining with a glass of local wine on a balmy summer evening. The extensive fenced grounds and orchards offer the opportunity to ramble and explore. You can pass many a serene hour gazing at the views of the superb local countryside and across to Dartmoor in the distance.
